Earlier, batting first, Bangladesh, was bowled out for a paltry 124 off 48.1 overs.

The Zimbabwe bowlers, who bowed a steady line and length had sent back both the openers Tamim Iqbal (13) and Junaid Siddique (3), skipper Mohammad Ashraful (4), Raqibul Hasan (28) and Shakib Al Hasan (15) with the score reading 69.

The lower order batsmen Mushfiqur Rahim (22), Mahmudullah (14), Naeem islam (15), Mashrafe Mortaza (5), Nazmul Hossain (0) and Rubel Hossain (0 not out) also could not do much to retrieve the situation before the innings folded at 124 runs with 11 balls to spare.
