Andrew Flintoff proved he is bowling as well as he needs to for a comeback in next month's first Test - all he needs now is a few runs too.
All-rounder Flintoff showed he is feeling no ill-effects after last year's fourth operation on his left ankle when, bowling in only his second first-class match since, he sent down 16 overs in two spells against Somerset.
Flintoff's former England team-mate Marcus Trescothick needed luck on his side to make 77 for Somerset, and afterwards he had no doubts about his old friend's fitness.
